Humberto Mello recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 29th match minute, Estulania SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Décio Quirino to maneuver through the defense. In the 30th minute of the match Francisco Zonta sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aírton Paes skillfully saved the ball. Aírton Paes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Humberto Mello's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. In the 33rd minute of the match Pirapitinga SC got a corner. Estulania SS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Francisco Zonta ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Pirapitinga SC's Francisco Zonta to fire away a dangerous shot which Aírton Paes despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Humberto Mello in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aírton Paes saved Estulania SS from getting behind. A collision led to Estulania SS getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Décio Quirino hit a great ball. 36 minutes into the match, Estulania SS's goal looked a bit too open when Humberto Mello came free, but Aírton Paes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aírton Paes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Humberto Mello in the 54th minute of the match. Humberto Mello received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Aírton Paes came out and tried to block the shot, but Humberto Mello slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 59th minute. If Humberto Mello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 66 played minutes Estulania SS got a freekick which was hit by Jorginho Paraibano. Tião Donato who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 75thth minute tested the skills of Aírton Paes when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 76th of the match, Humberto Mello tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Aírton Paes got in the way and made a wonderful save. In the 78th play minute Tião Donato came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Aírton Paes. 0-3. Walmyr Simão's late challenge caught a Estulania SS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Walmyr Simão helped the player get up and apologised. In the 81st minute, Walmyr Simão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpected shot in the 85th minute by Tião Donato got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Tião Donato could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Aírton Paes made a huge save. A hard shot 88 in the game by Tião Donato from a close distance when the talented Aírton Paes managed to make a qualified save. Estulania SS's players were relieved. Aírton Paes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Humberto Mello in the 89th minute of the match. Pirapitinga SC's Tião Donato got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Pirapitinga SC's Francisco Zonta got a free kick in the 96th minute.
