Balaban Tavil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aírton Paes having to interfere. Balaban Tavil might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aírton Paes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Balaban Tavil ran back to his position shaking his head. 15 minutes into the game, Caco Leme cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Aírton Paes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 17 minutes, Joaquim Medeiros mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fúria EC and the Estulania SS players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Fúria EC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Joaquim Medeiros hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice moves Maurício Dante could shoot a difficult shot in the 19th minute, which Kai Boris Schrumpf however easily saved by the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Balaban Tavil in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aírton Paes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Balaban Tavil recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Balaban Tavil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aírton Paes having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Balaban Tavil's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aírton Paes was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. If Caco Leme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Balaban Tavil in the 42nd minute of play forced Estulania SS's goalkeeper Aírton Paes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Balaban Tavil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aírton Paes having to interfere. Estulania SS's Aírton Paes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caco Leme in the 46th minute of play. Balaban Tavil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luís Paranaense to strike the kick off in the second half. Fúria EC's Kai Boris Schrumpf played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maurício Dante in the 51st minute of play. In the 53rd minute of the match Fausto Teles shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kai Boris Schrumpf showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Balaban Tavil's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aírton Paes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Balaban Tavil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aírton Paes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caco Leme, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. In the 71st minute, Balaban Tavil ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aírton Paes was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Balaban Tavil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aírton Paes having to interfere. Caco Leme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Aírton Paes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Balaban Tavils short, quick shot in the 79thth minute got Aírton Paes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 87 minutes into the match, Estulania SS's goalkeeper Aírton Paes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Balaban Tavil. Aírton Paes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Balaban Tavil's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. Balaban Tavil could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Aírton Paes made a huge save. Fúria EC played a much better game than Estulania SS and deserved their victory. The Estulania SS players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
