Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Conrado Bastos kicked off to start the match. Josué Veiga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Conrado Bastos in the 3rd minute of play. Aníbal de Queirós's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Valdemar Marinho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. Conrado Bastos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Josué Veiga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 14th minute, Aníbal de Queirós got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 23rd minute Aníbal de Queirós shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valdemar Marinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Conrado Bastos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Josué Veiga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Colonia SC's Josué Veiga got control of the ball when Luís Guilherme Cabral tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Benê Mineiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Itayopolis AD's zone, Benê Mineiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valdemar Marinho came out of the goal and Benê Mineiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 36 played minutes Itayopolis AD got a freekick which was hit by Adriano Tasso. Donato Quirino took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 39th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Josué Veiga. Colonia SC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Flávio Barbosa kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aníbal de Queirós to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, José Maria da Silveira notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Colonia SC's Josué Veiga. Josué Veiga was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Adriano Tasso kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Conrado Bastos spun around in front of the goal 65 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Colonia SC's goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aníbal de Queirós in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Valdemar Marinho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Josué Veiga didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Conrado Bastos went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Josué Veiga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Conrado Bastos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 77 minutes into the game, Itayopolis AD's José Maria da Silveira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Josué Veiga made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers José Maria da Silveira in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Josué Veiga saved Colonia SC from getting behind. Josué Veiga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Maria da Silveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Josué Veiga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Maria da Silveira in the 88th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Maria da Silveira in the 90th minute of play forced Colonia SC's goalkeeper Josué Veiga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Itayopolis AD's Conrado Bastos got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 97 minutes into the match, Colonia SC's goal looked a bit too open when José Maria da Silveira came free, but Josué Veiga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Itayopolis AD's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
