With 10 minutes on the clock, Augusto Castro commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 9 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Minuim FC! 17 minutes into the game, Ediberto Rosa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dulcinopolis FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Minuim FC the free kick. Ediberto Rosa hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Minuim FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Oscar Prado in the 20th minute. Minuim FC's Oscar Prado was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Angelo Vidal in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Gugu de Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aílton Alves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albertinho Cunha in the 31st minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Albertinho Cunha in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aílton Alves saved Minuim FC from getting behind. Albertinho Cunha did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Aílton Alves 39 minutes into the match. If Gugu de Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gugu de Almeida recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gugu de Almeida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aílton Alves having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Albertinho Cunha to make the kick off. After 51 played minutes Minuim FC got a freekick which was hit by Guilherme de Toledo. Dulcinopolis FC were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after Minuim FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ediberto Rosa took the corner. Dulcinopolis FC's Gilson Andrade was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Aílton Alves in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Albertinho Cunha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aílton Alves having to interfere. Gugu de Almeida sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gugu de Almeida might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aílton Alves. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gugu de Almeida ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Dulcinopolis FC's Angelo Vidal got control of the ball when Miguel Castro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Miguel Castro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Angelo Vidal having to make a save. Albertinho Cunha scored 3-0 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aílton Alves, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 91st minute, Albertinho Cunha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gugu de Almeida in the 93rd minute of play forced Minuim FC's goalkeeper Aílton Alves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96th minute of the match Eurico Recife shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aílton Alves showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the referee ended the match the Dulcinopolis FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
