Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) With a little luck, Minuim FC's Aílton Alves got control of the ball when Cássio Campidelis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Minuim FC's Aílton Alves proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Minuim FC from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Claudinei Rezende during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 12 minutes into the game, Rômulo de Senna was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Minuim FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Braga SC the free kick. After 12 played minutes Minuim FC got a freekick which was hit by Rômulo de Senna. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cássio Campidelis in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aílton Alves prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 15th minute of the match Braga SC got a corner. Minuim FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Elivélton Pombal ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 15th minute, Robinho Ribeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Danilo das Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 20th minute, Cássio Campidelis reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Aílton Alves. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 23rd minute, Claudinei Rezende hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cássio Campidelis in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aílton Alves prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 25th match minute, Minuim FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rômulo de Senna to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Minuim FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Oscar Prado hit a great ball. In the 28th minute of the match Robinho Ribeiro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aílton Alves skillfully saved the ball. 30 minutes into the game, Cássio Campidelis lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Aílton Alves. In the 33rd minute Edvaldo Bueno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hélder de Mendonça saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Minuim FC's goalkeeper Aílton Alves, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Minuim FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 37th minute, when Cássio Campidelis scored to the left of an out of position Aílton Alves, making the score, 3-0. Aílton Alves made an important save on a dangerous shot by Richard Saraiva in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cássio Campidelis to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Edvaldo Bueno managed to get in a good position for a shot. Minuim FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Edvaldo Bueno was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hélder de Mendonça breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Minuim FC booed when Braga SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robinho Amorim didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hélder de Mendonça stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edvaldo Bueno's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. With a little luck, Braga SC's Hélder de Mendonça got control of the ball when Miguel Castro tried to sneak it across the goal line. 60 minutes into the game, one of Braga SC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Hélder de Mendonça, was totally fooled by Minuim FC's Oscar Prado, who 63 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. If Danilo das Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 72nd match minute, Minuim FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vânderson Nóbrega to maneuver through the defense. Danilo das Neves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pedro Paulo Félix charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pedro Paulo Félix the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 81 played minutes Braga SC got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Paulo Félix. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edvaldo Bueno in the 82nd minute of play forced Braga SC's goalkeeper Hélder de Mendonça to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Robinho Ribeiro came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Braga SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robinho Ribeiro couldn't finish the play. Edinho Fernandes might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aílton Alves. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edinho Fernandes ran back to his position shaking his head. Edvaldo Bueno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hélder de Mendonça having to interfere. Braga SC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
