Spectators: 6673 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 0) After 4 played minutes CAJV got a freekick which was hit by Angelo Peixoto. Adolfo de Queirós recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dinei Albuquerque showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ademir Meireles, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Fiori Brasil was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 8 minutes into the match. Alexsandro Marques took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 9th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dinei Albuquerque. Igarapiuna FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Valdo Meireles could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Betão Sampaio made a huge save. In the 16th minute, Celsinho Quintal made a precise shot to the right of Dinei Albuquerque. Igarapiuna FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Betão Sampaio made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Valdo Meireles sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Igarapiuna FC booed when CAJV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celsinho Quintal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Igarapiuna FC's Dinei Albuquerque played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celsinho Quintal in the 28th minute of play. In the 31st minute, Alexsandro Marques left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CAJV fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 33rd minute, Valério Brodel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bernardinho Rossi took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dinei Albuquerque. Dinei Albuquerque dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Dinei Albuquerque made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ademir Meireles in the 42nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelo Peixoto in the 43rd minute of play forced Igarapiuna FC's goalkeeper Dinei Albuquerque to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dinei Albuquerque made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ademir Meireles in the 45th minute of play. Igarapiuna FC's Dinei Albuquerque played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelo Peixoto in the 46th minute of play. After the first half CAJV were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Valdo Meireles made the kick off in the second half. Dinei Albuquerque showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ademir Meireles in the 53rd minute of the match. Bernardinho Rossi hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, CAJV's Bernardinho Rossi got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Alexsandro Marques kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. In the 68thth minute of the game Valdo Meireles who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CAJV's Betão Sampaio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dinei Albuquerque showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelo Peixoto, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Dinei Albuquerque took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexsandro Marques, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 76th minute, CAJV's Durvalino Linares seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Durvalino Linares the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of CAJV protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Durvalino Linares had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 76 minutes into the game, one of CAJV:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 83rd minute Alexsandro Marques shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dinei Albuquerque saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dinei Albuquerque came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by CAJV's Ademir Meireles. But to his dismay, Ademir Meireles quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Dinei Albuquerque took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardinho Rossi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 90 minutes into the match, Zézinho Cearense had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dinei Albuquerque. Igarapiuna FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zézinho Cearense was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. Dinei Albuquerque showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Inácio Catarinense, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. When the match was over CAJV could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Igarapiuna FC throughout the match.
