After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Tibúrcio Leme managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pebra FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tibúrcio Leme was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vitório Motta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pebra FC's Fausto Teles got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 29th minute, Alexsandro Coelho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Betão Cavalcante kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tibúrcio Leme in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vitório Motta saved Corinthians Paulista from getting behind. Pebra FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tibúrcio Leme was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Pebra FC's Tibúrcio Leme slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Vitório Motta. That made the score 0-3 after 64 minutes of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tibúrcio Leme in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vitório Motta saved Corinthians Paulista from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tibúrcio Leme in the 74th minute of play forced Corinthians Paulista's goalkeeper Vitório Motta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Nestor da Mata came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Pebra FC fans jumped to their feet.
