Giovanni Reis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santi Balboa in the 39th minute of the match. After 48 minutes of play, botafogo ribeirao's Luiz Guilherme Braga made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Giovanni Reis was left in no man's land by his defense there! Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Osmar Rezende made the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Luiz Guilherme Braga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Giovanni Reis was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. If Santi Balboa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 62 minutes into the game, botafogo ribeirao's Luiz Guilherme Braga nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Giovanni Reis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. In the 65th minute Santi Balboa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giovanni Reis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Giovanni Reis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santi Balboa in the 67th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Santi Balboa in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Giovanni Reis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Ameliopolis getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. João Francisco de Azevedo hit a great ball. In the 74th minute, Luiz Guilherme Braga left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The botafogo ribeirao fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. If Santi Balboa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute.
