An unexpectedly hard shot by Téo Vergílio in the 15th minute of play forced Liverpool's goalkeeper Diogo Lopez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Téo Vergílio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Diogo Lopez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Téo Vergílio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Liverpool's Diogo Lopez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Téo Vergílio in the 30th minute of play. The wind increased when Téo Vergílio made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 55 minutes, Téo Vergílio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Revenge's supporters crossed their fingers, but Téo Vergílio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Téo Vergílio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diogo Lopez having to interfere. If Téo Vergílio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Diogo Lopez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Téo Vergílio went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Liverpool's Wilton Novaes got a free kick in the 74th minute. Kléber Figueiredo lost his temper 75 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. Revenge were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
