In the 14th minute, André Luís Couto reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Baltazar de Lima. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 16th minute, Jonas Velloso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 20 minutes into the game, Pedrinho de Azevedo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Baus AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Winchester FC the free kick. After a defensive mix-up in Baus AD's zone, Sílvio Braga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albertino Madureira came out of the goal and Sílvio Braga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fabiano de Azevedo kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Válbson de Lima charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Válbson de Lima the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Válbson de Lima hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 27th minute Sílvio Braga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albertino Madureira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baltazar de Lima made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Prestes in the 33rd minute of play. Baus AD's Juan Prestes got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Serafim de Salles to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Luiz Fábio Vidal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Juan Prestes in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Baltazar de Lima prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Baus AD's Juan Prestes in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Winchester FC's goalie prevented a goal. Luiz Fábio Vidal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 66th minute Serafim de Salles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albertino Madureira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 68th minute, Luiz Fábio Vidal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Winchester FC defense, Juan Prestes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Baltazar de Lima. The Winchester FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Baltazar de Lima should have stopped the shot. 75 minutes into the game, Baus AD's Luiz Fábio Vidal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Baltazar de Lima made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. In the 78th minute, Francisco Pinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luiz Fábio Vidal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Juan Prestes scored 5-0 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Baltazar de Lima, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Basílio Carneiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 89 minutes of play, Baus AD's Juan Prestes made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Baltazar de Lima was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Luiz Fábio Vidal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the Baus AD players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
