After some careless play in the Agulha FC defense, Elivélton Freitas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cristian Mendonça. The Agulha FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cristian Mendonça should have stopped the shot. After 21 minutes of play Agulha FC's Gustavo Koehler was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Agulha FC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Gustavo Koehler hit a great ball. In the 27th match minute, Agulha FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruninho Britto to maneuver through the defense. Wilton Arce kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. When Agulha FC's Albertinho Tróia in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye VELHINHO . F . Cristian Mendonça was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Elivélton Freitas was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, VELHINHO . F . C's Guto Santos got control of the ball when Albertinho Tróia tried to sneak it across the goal line. Elivélton Freitas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elivélton Freitas might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cristian Mendonça. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The audience thought a goal was coming when Albertinho Tróia got free with Guto Santos in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 75th match minute, Agulha FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zeca Marquez to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Agulha FC's Bruninho Britto got a free kick in the 77th minute. Francisco Mello, 78 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After a defensive mix-up in VELHINHO . F . C's zone, Albertinho Tróia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guto Santos came out of the goal and Albertinho Tróia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Elivélton Freitas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Albertinho Tróia put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Guto Santos. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elivélton Freitas in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cristian Mendonça prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Elivélton Freitas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. VELHINHO . F . C's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
