Diego Goiano struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Jonas do Nascimento didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Medique SS. 21 minutes into the game, Alfredo Miranda was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cajueiras FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Medique SS the free kick. Alfredo Miranda hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Matías Silva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Jonas do Nascimento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Matías Silva made a kick off. Medique SS were furious when Ediberto Toscano was red carded, 54 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Medique SS fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 53rd minute. Penalty! Medique SS's Caetano Lara was substituted for Bebeto Saldanha. In the 64th minute of the match, Matías Silva tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jonas do Nascimento saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Jonas do Nascimento breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jonas do Nascimento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matías Silva in the 85th minute of the match. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Renatinho Lago showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.
