Spectators: 6664 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1664, VIP seats: 0) Igaci AD's João Adolfo do Valle started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Igaci AD's zone, César Cerezo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Delfim Cerezo came out of the goal and César Cerezo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Igaci AD's Delfim Cerezo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by César Cerezo in the 8th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Christian Maciel got free with Chico Xavier in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. César Cerezo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Delfim Cerezo having to interfere. Acácio Paranaense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Delfim Cerezo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Delfim Cerezo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from César Cerezo in the 16th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling César Cerezo in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Delfim Cerezo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Romário Freitas hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. If Rubinho Coelho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcinho Mineiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Delfim Cerezo having to interfere. Igaci AD's Delfim Cerezo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by César Cerezo in the 37th minute of play. After 37 minutes, Cido Rossi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Igaci AD and the Araranguá Esporte Clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cido Rossi kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. César Cerezo scored 0-2 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Delfim Cerezo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for César Cerezo to strike the kick off in the second half. César Cerezo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Araranguá Esporte Clube's Chico Xavier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Adolfo do Valle in the 59th minute of play. In the 60th minute Cido Rossi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chico Xavier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Igaci AD's Adalberto Koehler got a free kick in the 61st minute. After 62 minutes of play, Araranguá Esporte Clube's César Cerezo made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Delfim Cerezo was left in no man's land by his defense there! The long shot by Rubinho Coelho in the 69th minute really tested Delfim Cerezo's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Marcinho Mineiro's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Delfim Cerezo firmly grabbed it by the left post. 72 minutes into the match, Igaci AD's goal looked a bit too open when César Cerezo came free, but Delfim Cerezo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adalberto Koehler hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. After 85 minutes, César Cerezo made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Igaci AD's Delfim Cerezo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If César Cerezo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcinho Mineiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 95 minutes into the match, Henrique Barbosa sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Delfim Cerezo threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Henrique Barbosa this time. Acácio Paranaense hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Araranguá Esporte Clube's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
