Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Renatinho Valle started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 7 played minutes Sorocaba SS got a freekick which was hit by Benedito de Souza. In the 10th minute, Benedito de Souza left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sorocaba SS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Renatinho Valle blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leonardo Albuquerque having to make a save. 18 minutes into the game, Hugo Marinho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sorocaba SS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cachu Ita FC the free kick. In the 18th match minute, Sorocaba SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Marinho to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Renatinho Valle in the 20th minute of play forced Sorocaba SS's goalkeeper Leonardo Albuquerque to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st match minute, Sorocaba SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dudu Pena to maneuver through the defense. Benedito de Souza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cachu Ita FC's Romário Neto got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 35 minutes into the match, Cachu Ita FC's Romário Neto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leonardo Albuquerque narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Romário Neto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Örs Kozák managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cachu Ita FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Örs Kozák was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leonardo Albuquerque breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The wind increased when Hugo Marinho made the kick off in the second half. Leonardo Albuquerque came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Cachu Ita FC's Romário Neto. But to his dismay, Romário Neto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cachu Ita FC's goalkeeper Erik Košičan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Benedito de Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erik Košičan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugo Marinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Romário Neto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Leonardo Albuquerque tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 63 played minutes Sorocaba SS got a freekick which was hit by Wilton Rossi. Edvaldo Leão was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 64th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After 66 minutes, Renatinho Valle made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Sorocaba SS's Leonardo Albuquerque tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 69th minute, Jonathan Faria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Benedito de Souza came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Sorocaba SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benedito de Souza couldn't finish the play. When Renatinho Valle came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Cachu Ita FC fans jumped to their feet. A collision led to Sorocaba SS getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Dudu Pena hit a great ball. Leonardo Albuquerque stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Renatinho Valle's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. An unexpected shot in the 88th minute by Benedito de Souza got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 90th minute, Cachu Ita FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Benedito de Souza fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Cachu Ita FC had played much better football throughout.
