Chure's Antônio Pinheiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan de Alcântara in the 64th minute of play. In the 67th minute, Frederico Gonçalves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 70th match minute, Templarios was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Perivaldo Veiga to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 89 minutes, Délio Cardoso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chure's supporters crossed their fingers, but Délio Cardoso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Chure's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
