Rolando Balesio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Didi Urbano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esteban Gonsalve in the 28th minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, S.C.São Caetano's goal looked a bit too open when Hortêncio Cardozo came free, but Juvenal Favoretto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Caruauba SS's Didi Urbano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esteban Gonsalve in the 44th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Caruauba SS's Hortêncio Cardozo got a free kick in the 45th minute. In the 47th minute, Hortêncio Cardozo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The wind increased when Alex Turner made the kick off in the second half. 67 minutes into the match, Esteban Gonsalve notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Caruauba SS's Didi Urbano. Didi Urbano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 76 minutes into the match, Caruauba SS's goal looked a bit too open when Esteban Gonsalve came free, but Didi Urbano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Caruauba SS getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Wladyslaw Huchro hit a great ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Caruauba SS players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for S.C.São Caetano.
