Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Vitório Vidal started the match with the kick off. After 3 minutes, Elder Tande mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carrazedo and the Barroso players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaltino Sampaio in the 4th minute of play forced Carrazedo's goalkeeper Marcelo Moraes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 6 played minutes Carrazedo got a freekick which was hit by Alfredinho Santana. Marcelo Moraes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaltino Sampaio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Isaltino Sampaio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcelo Moraes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. Daniel Medeiros hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Isaltino Sampaio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelo Moraes having to interfere. Humberto Soares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 37th minute Isaltino Sampaio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Moraes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Daniel Medeiros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Carrazedo's Alfredinho Santana got a free kick in the 41st minute. In the 43rd minute, José Augusto Saraiva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 44th minute, Jean Neiva sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Barroso's Luiz Fábio Gaúcho didn't even have to move. 47 minutes into the game, Barroso's Daniel Medeiros nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcelo Moraes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

59 minutes into the game, one of Barroso:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 61st minute there was a penalty for Carrazedo. Jean Neiva stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Luiz Fábio Gaúcho. 1-1. Isaltino Sampaio took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcelo Moraes. Marcelo Moraes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. 77 minutes into the match, Vitório Vidal notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Barroso's Luiz Fábio Gaúcho. Luiz Fábio Gaúcho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luiz Fábio Gaúcho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vitório Vidal, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vitório Vidal in the 85th minute of play forced Barroso's goalkeeper Luiz Fábio Gaúcho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alberto Moraes kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Luiz Fábio Gaúcho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernandinho Mendes in the 89th minute of play. After having played for 90 minutes, Vitório Vidal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carrazedo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vitório Vidal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hélio Tande during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 93rd match minute, Barroso was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hélio Tande to maneuver through the defense. In the 93rd minute of the match Jean Neiva shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luiz Fábio Gaúcho showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Humberto Soares could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 98th minute of the match, but Marcelo Moraes made a huge save. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
