Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Marcelinho Aguiar took the kick off in the first half of the match. Ricardinho de Brito took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 5th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Acácio Correia. FLAMENGO's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Enio Dracena kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Peruje EC's goalkeeper Hermínio Vaz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Gaudencio Bortzaioriz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 12 minutes into the match, Marcelinho Aguiar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hermínio Vaz. Peruje EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcelinho Aguiar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 22nd minute Marcelinho Aguiar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hermínio Vaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th minute, Enio Dracena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hermínio Vaz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamin Travassos, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Marcelinho Aguiar scored 0-3 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hermínio Vaz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Agnaldo Alves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 43 minutes, Gaudencio Bortzaioriz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FLAMENGO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gaudencio Bortzaioriz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cipriano Marques stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee felt a red card was in order, 56 minutes into the game, when Wilian Pirani put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 56th minute of the game. One of FLAMENGO:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Peruje EC:s goal. In the 66th minute Cipriano Marques shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Acácio Correia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcelinho Aguiar who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 69thth minute tested the skills of Hermínio Vaz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 71 minutes into the game, Pere Riffo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FLAMENGO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Peruje EC the free kick. Pere Riffo hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Agnaldo Alves blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hermínio Vaz having to make a save. After having played for 83 minutes, Agnaldo Alves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FLAMENGO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Agnaldo Alves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Acácio Correia came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Peruje EC's Cipriano Marques. But to his dismay, Cipriano Marques quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Peruje EC's goalkeeper Hermínio Vaz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
