Eliseu de Senna who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 9thth minute tested the skills of Roger Urbano when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Aluísio Linhares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leopoldo Paiva in the 11th minute of the match. In the 13th minute Eliseu de Senna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roger Urbano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Roger Urbano managed to avoid a goal in the 14thth minute, when F.C Martinica's Eliseu de Senna fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Roger Urbano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseu de Senna in the 18th minute of play. 21 minutes into the game, Leopoldo Paiva cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Aluísio Linhares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 24 minutes into the game, one of F.C Martinica:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 26th minute there was a penalty for Aldeinha. Evaristo Nogueira stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Aluísio Linhares. 0-2. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Eliseu de Senna put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Roger Urbano. Leopoldo Paiva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aluísio Linhares having to interfere. When Leopoldo Paiva got free in front of the goal in the 40th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Aluísio Linhares was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 42nd minute of the match Víktor Rosa sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aluísio Linhares skillfully saved the ball. Sidney Hermes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Aluísio Linhares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Aldeinha were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sidney Hermes to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice moves Leopoldo Paiva could shoot a difficult shot in the 53rd minute, which Aluísio Linhares however easily saved by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Aldeinha's zone, Eliseu de Senna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roger Urbano came out of the goal and Eliseu de Senna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aluísio Linhares was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Víktor Rosa. 67 minutes into the match, F.C Martinica's goal looked a bit too open when Sidney Hermes came free, but Aluísio Linhares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sidney Hermes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aluísio Linhares having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ezequiel Arantes in the 72nd minute of play forced F.C Martinica's goalkeeper Aluísio Linhares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Caradoc Bergin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of F.C Martinica booed when Aldeinha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ezequiel Arantes didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Eliseu de Senna came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the F.C Martinica fans jumped to their feet. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Roger Urbano showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Roger Urbano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseu de Senna in the 92nd minute of the match. The Aldeinha players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
