Fabiano de Godoy charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fabiano de Godoy the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Fabiano de Godoy received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Raphael Vides came out and tried to block the shot, but Fabiano de Godoy slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 52nd minute. In the 54th minute, Cássio Cordeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 62nd minute Váldson Linares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raphael Vides saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabiano de Godoy in the 65th minute of play forced Gigante da Colina's goalkeeper Raphael Vides to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Délio Simões could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Raphael Vides made a huge save. Raphael Vides showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Váldson Linares, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. 69 minutes into the game, Cássio Cordeiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. If Váldson Linares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raphael Vides made an important save on a dangerous shot by João Bittencourt in the 92nd minute. 95 minutes into the match, Gigante da Colina's goal looked a bit too open when Váldson Linares came free, but Raphael Vides reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
