The audience was convinced that Ernesto Gorosti's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Raphael Vides was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. In the 13th minute of the match, Délio Simões got a very nice opportunity to score, but Raphael Vides was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 15th minute, Ernesto Gorosti fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Gigante da Colina's zone, João Bittencourt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raphael Vides came out of the goal and João Bittencourt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 22nd minute, Boca Juniors's Ernesto Gorosti dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Raphael Vides made an important save on a dangerous shot by João Bittencourt in the 24th minute. An unexpected shot in the 28th minute by João Bittencourt got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 32 minutes into the match, João Bittencourt notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Gigante da Colina's Raphael Vides. Raphael Vides was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Boca Juniors booed when Gigante da Colina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kiko Penha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Raphael Vides made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gildo de Lara in the 37th minute of play. If Ernesto Gorosti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cássio Cordeiro's late challenge caught a Gigante da Colina's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cássio Cordeiro helped the player get up and apologised. Cássio Cordeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Gigante da Colina's Raphael Vides played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernesto Gorosti in the 42nd minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Gigante da Colina's goal looked a bit too open when Fabiano de Godoy came free, but Raphael Vides reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ernesto Gorosti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The wind increased when João Bittencourt made the kick off in the second half. When Boca Juniors's João Bittencourt in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Raphael Vides showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Váldson Linares, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. After 65 minutes of play, Boca Juniors's João Bittencourt made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Raphael Vides was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Boca Juniors getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Cássio Cordeiro hit a great ball. Raphael Vides came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Boca Juniors's João Bittencourt. But to his dismay, João Bittencourt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Boca Juniors's Váldson Linares got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. João Bittencourt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 85 minutes into the game, Boca Juniors's Váldson Linares nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Raphael Vides made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. If Váldson Linares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Váldson Linares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Raphael Vides tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Váldson Linares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Boca Juniors had played much better football throughout.
