After 21 played minutes S.C.Baruerinthians P. got a freekick which was hit by Adriano Sousa. In the 22nd minute, Timbatível FC's Ian Viana ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Elder Severo. Elder Severo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Rodolfo Salgado might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Elder Severo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Elder Severo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ian Viana in the 69th minute of the match. Juvenal Pontes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Timbatível FC's goalkeeper Diego Reis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
