Urbano Iraido took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cacá Sena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Real Madri getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Antônio Carlos Arruda hit a great ball. In the 6th minute, Cacá Sena made a precise shot to the right of Urbano Iraido. Real Madri's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kauã Magalhães in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Matías de Toledo saved Fattiada from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kléberson Terra during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Matías de Toledo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antônio Carlos Arruda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Real Madri's Urbano Iraido got control of the ball when Nilmar Terra tried to sneak it across the goal line. Real Madri's Clemente Passos got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 21st minute, Gilmar Matos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Silvério Quintal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Matías de Toledo was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Kauã Magalhães managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gilmar Matos hit a great ball. Matías de Toledo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kauã Magalhães, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. In the 43rd minute, Nilmar Terra ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Urbano Iraido was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The tension between the Real Madri and the Fattiada players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 90th match minute, Real Madri was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delfim de Carvalho to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew the final whistle, Fattiada could leave the field as winners, despite Real Madri having more of the ball for most of the match.
