Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Luís Fabiano Costa took the kick off in the first half of the match. Tomás Proença's late challenge caught a Capoeiras's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tomás Proença helped the player get up and apologised. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luís Fabiano Costa got free with Fausto Sergipano in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 9 minutes into the game, Artur Trancoso recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fausto Sergipano. Artur Trancoso showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Luís Fabiano Costa who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 16thth minute tested the skills of Fausto Sergipano when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomás Proença in the 21st minute of play forced Capoeiras's goalkeeper André Paulista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th minute, Sidnei do Vale made a precise shot to the right of André Paulista. Capoeiras's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After 27 played minutes Capoeiras got a freekick which was hit by Tomás Xavier. Fausto Sergipano was out of position in the 30 minute of play, and Artur Trancoso capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Artur Trancoso really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. Fausto Sergipano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artur Trancoso in the 39th minute of the match. Francisco Rocha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. André Paulista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Danilo Pereira hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sidnei do Vale to strike the kick off in the second half. Fausto Sergipano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artur Trancoso in the 52nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Caiua AD's Tomás Proença got a free kick in the 53rd minute. After 55 played minutes Caiua AD got a freekick which was hit by Tomás Proença. Caiua AD's Fausto Sergipano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Fabiano Costa in the 65th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artur Trancoso in the 66th minute of play forced Caiua AD's goalkeeper Fausto Sergipano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Artur Trancoso hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Artur Trancoso struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Fausto Sergipano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Capoeiras. Fausto Sergipano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Fabiano Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Artur Trancoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Fausto Sergipano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 92 minutes into the game, Artur Trancoso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Fausto Sergipano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Capoeiras were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
