The supporters of Cavalo Crioulo FC booed when Muriae SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dráuzio Pinheiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gonçalo Medeiros kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. 8 minutes into the match, Muriae SS's goalkeeper Duda de Barros had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cafu Fantini. Cafu Fantini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duda de Barros having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 12th minute by Cafu Fantini got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Silvinho Marinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cafu Fantini succeeded in the game's 14th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. Cafu Fantini's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Duda de Barros firmly grabbed it by the left post. The supporters of Muriae SS booed when Cavalo Crioulo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvinho Marinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cafu Fantini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Duda de Barros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Silvinho Marinho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cavalo Crioulo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Silvinho Marinho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Duda de Barros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 29th minute, Muriae SS's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Cafu Fantini fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Chiquinho Negri charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Chiquinho Negri the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Cavalo Crioulo FC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Chiquinho Negri hit a great ball. In the 37th minute, Matheus Nóbrega got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Duda de Barros made an important save on a dangerous shot by André Luiz Castro in the 40th minute. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Muriae SS's goalkeeper Duda de Barros, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cafu Fantini was the one to do the kick off. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vitinho Paranaense helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Muriae SS getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Vitinho Paranaense hit a great ball. Duda de Barros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvinho Marinho in the 61st minute of the match. Duda de Barros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cafu Fantini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 68th minute, Silvinho Marinho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Muriae SS's zone, Silvinho Marinho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Duda de Barros came out of the goal and Silvinho Marinho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Duda de Barros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cafu Fantini in the 76th minute of the match. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Muriae SS's goalkeeper Duda de Barros, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 90 minutes into the match, Muriae SS's goal looked a bit too open when Cafu Fantini came free, but Duda de Barros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Cafu Fantini managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cavalo Crioulo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cafu Fantini was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. A very good chance. When the referee ended the match the Cavalo Crioulo FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
