In the 2nd match minute, Lontras EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dedé Guedes to maneuver through the defense. 5 minutes into the game, Gláuber Ferraz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Brahmeiro FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lontras EC the free kick. In the 5th minute, Gláuber Ferraz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 6th match minute, Brahmeiro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elias Pinho to maneuver through the defense. Vivaldo Fernandes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Caco Massa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fabrício Ferreira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sandro Brodel, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elias Pinho in the 13th minute of play forced Lontras EC's goalkeeper Fabrício Ferreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 18 minutes into the game, Caco Massa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lontras EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brahmeiro FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Lontras EC's Caco Massa got a free kick in the 18th minute. Gláuber Ferraz was shown his second yellow card after 21 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 22nd minute, Gláuber Ferraz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alan Xavier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabrício Ferreira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sandro Brodel's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Sandro Brodel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 32nd match minute, Brahmeiro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jean Schmidt to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Lontras EC's Paulo José Paraibano got a free kick in the 35th minute. Paulo José Paraibano hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Alan Xavier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabrício Ferreira having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Lontras EC's Paulo José Paraibano got a free kick in the 47th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
Sandro Brodel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sandro Brodel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Fabrício Ferreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sandro Brodel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 59 minutes, Elias Pinho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brahmeiro FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elias Pinho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alan Xavier got free with Fabrício Ferreira in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 68th play minute Alan Xavier came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Fabrício Ferreira. 0-2. Sandro Brodel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience was convinced that Sandro Brodel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabrício Ferreira was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. After 83 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Lontras EC! Alan Xavier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Fabrício Ferreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sandro Brodel in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabrício Ferreira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Lontras EC's zone, Elias Pinho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabrício Ferreira came out of the goal and Elias Pinho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Elias Pinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fabrício Ferreira made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Sandro Brodel sent off a good shot on target. When the final whistle sounded Brahmeiro FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Lontras EC.
