After 42 played minutes Taji FC got a freekick which was hit by Deivid Amaral. Rômulo Meireles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jean Schmidt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Taji FC's zone, Alan Xavier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rômulo Meireles came out of the goal and Alan Xavier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

If Sandro Brodel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 93 minutes, Ronaldo Amorim mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Taji FC and the Brahmeiro FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 93 played minutes Taji FC got a freekick which was hit by Ronaldo Amorim.
