In the 16thth minute of the game Rikard Falkrantz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cajubim's Wanderson Braga was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Rikard Falkrantz came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Curima fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rikard Falkrantz couldn't finish the play. In the 19th minute of the match Toader Podgoreanu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wanderson Braga showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With a little luck, Curima's Haroldo Favoretto got control of the ball when Gildo Almeida tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Cajubim's Elivélton Vaz got a free kick in the 25th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gildo Almeida during the 28th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.
