Spectators: 7310 (Terracing: 5484, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 145) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Fred Molander got the match started through his kick off. After 16 minutes, Sydney Tasso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Murutinga and the Alvejado EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 16th minute, Sydney Tasso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by William Araújo in the 19th minute of play forced Alvejado EC's goalkeeper Edgard de Toledo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alvejado EC's Edgard de Toledo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by William Araújo in the 25th minute of play. In the 26th match minute, Alvejado EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronaldão Cunha to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luís Fabiano Ramos during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 29 played minutes Murutinga got a freekick which was hit by Luís Fabiano Ramos. Váldson Gonçalves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valdo de Mendonça in the 34th minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Murutinga fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 38th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Alvejado EC a penalty, 40 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Fred Molander, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Murutinga's Váldson Gonçalves. 2-0. Váldson Gonçalves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Gustavo Penha, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. William Araújo kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fred Molander in the 48th minute of play forced Murutinga's goalkeeper Váldson Gonçalves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jarbas Toledo to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Alvejado EC's Edgard de Toledo got control of the ball when Sydney Tasso tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alfredão Neiva hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. In the 64th minute Fred Molander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Váldson Gonçalves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ronaldão Cunha hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Luís Fabiano Ramos was shown his second yellow card after 69 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Murutinga's Luís Fabiano Ramos got a free kick in the 70th minute. 77 minutes into the match, Fred Molander had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Váldson Gonçalves. Murutinga's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fred Molander was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Alfredo Silva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 89th minute, Jarbas Toledo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 90 minutes into the match, Murutinga's goal looked a bit too open when Fred Molander came free, but Váldson Gonçalves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Alvejado EC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Alfredão Neiva hit a great ball. Jarbas Toledo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Alvejado EC fully deserved thier win.
