A sloppy throw-in by Ademar Favoretto in the 36th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Futebol Clube Trojaner's Alberto Hoffmann. If Alberto Hoffmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ulisses Gaúcho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kauan Cardozo's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. 43 minutes into the match, Kauan Cardozo notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Martim's Ulisses Gaúcho. Ulisses Gaúcho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Martim's Ulisses Gaúcho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdir Lopez in the 45th minute of play. Tostão Britto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anselmo da Fonseca went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Erik Carvalho to make the kick off. When Martim's Anselmo da Fonseca in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Ulisses Gaúcho made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Valdir Lopez sent off a good shot on target. Kauan Cardozo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Ulisses Gaúcho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Martim's Ulisses Gaúcho got control of the ball when Valdir Lopez tried to sneak it across the goal line. José Augusto Vander's late challenge caught a Futebol Clube Trojaner's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. José Augusto Vander helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Martim's José Augusto Vander got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Kauan Cardozo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute.
