Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell André Freitas to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling André Freitas in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erivaldo Maciel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If André Freitas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 74th match minute, Ipigua was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mário Rosado to maneuver through the defense. In the 78th minute Gustaw Mosiniak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erivaldo Maciel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ipigua's Erivaldo Maciel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André Freitas in the 90th minute of play. Gustaw Mosiniak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erivaldo Maciel having to interfere. 95 minutes into the game, Gustaw Mosiniak cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Erivaldo Maciel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Caldeiroes walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
