An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodoro Marques in the 17th minute of play forced Leais Paulistanos F.C.'s goalkeeper Nicolas Cabral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Betão Souto in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nicolas Cabral prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Betão Souto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guto Massa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Leopoldo Romero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Guto Massa in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leopoldo Romero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nicolas Cabral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Betão Souto, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. A hard shot 36 in the game by Guto Massa from a close distance when the talented Leopoldo Romero managed to make a qualified save. Serji EC's players were relieved. The supporters of Leais Paulistanos F.C. booed when Serji EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Eduardo Torres didn't get a good kick on the ball. 40 minutes into the game, Guto Massa recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Leopoldo Romero. Guto Massa showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Nicolas Cabral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodoro Marques in the 48th minute of the match.

The wind increased when Betão Souto made the kick off in the second half. Betão Souto hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. 3-1 became the score in the 53rd minute when Betão Souto elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After having played for 56 minutes, Betão Souto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Serji EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Betão Souto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Teodoro Marques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolas Cabral having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Guto Massa in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leopoldo Romero saved Serji EC from getting behind. Betão Souto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Nicolas Cabral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guto Massa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Serji EC's André Luís Leal got a free kick in the 76th minute. In the 77th minute, Vânderson Prata hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Guto Massa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 92nd minute, Serji EC's Betão Souto dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-2. Nicolas Cabral made an important save on a dangerous shot by Teodoro Marques in the 97th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Leais Paulistanos F.C. had won after a very even match.
