In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Arnoreso FC's goalkeeper Fernandão Peixoto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. William Asklund took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paulo José Lopes. Paulo José Lopes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The Baxiu players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Arnoreso FC were winning 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alfredão Simão made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Didi Orange in the 73rd minute of play forced Baxiu's goalkeeper Paulo José Lopes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
