Spectators: 7208 (Terracing: 5408, Seating: 1657, VIP seats: 143) Martim FC's Válbson Linares started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Eurico de Lima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 8 minutes into the game, Edgard Favoretto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Martim FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tigre Branco the free kick. After 8 played minutes Martim FC got a freekick which was hit by Edgard Favoretto. Aníbal Velasco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Fernando Terra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 10th minute Válbson Linares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomáš Onderka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Carlos Fernando Terra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cristóvão Veiga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eurico de Lima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 19th match minute, Tigre Branco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Domingos Andrade to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Válbson Linares managed to get in a good position for a shot. Martim FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Válbson Linares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tomáš Onderka breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 24th minute, Cristóvão Veiga made a precise shot to the right of Aníbal Velasco. Martim FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 27th minute, Domingos Andrade hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristóvão Veiga in the 29th minute of play forced Martim FC's goalkeeper Aníbal Velasco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Cristóvão Veiga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tigre Branco's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristóvão Veiga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aníbal Velasco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 33rd minute, Eurico Arósio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eurico de Lima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomáš Onderka having to interfere. Tomáš Onderka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Válbson Linares in the 37th minute of the match. After having played for 41 minutes, Eurico de Lima managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Martim FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eurico de Lima was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ian Brasil hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Válbson Linares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

In the 53rd minute, Edgard Favoretto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Martim FC's zone, Cristóvão Veiga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aníbal Velasco came out of the goal and Cristóvão Veiga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aníbal Velasco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristóvão Veiga's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Cristóvão Veiga struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Aníbal Velasco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tigre Branco. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristóvão Veiga in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aníbal Velasco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 63rd minute, Eurico Arósio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tigre Branco's Tomáš Onderka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eurico de Lima in the 67th minute of play. Cristóvão Veiga's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aníbal Velasco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. Tigre Branco's Cristóvão Veiga got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aníbal Velasco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristóvão Veiga's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. Cristóvão Veiga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Aníbal Velasco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Martim FC booed when Tigre Branco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramiro Sampaio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Martim FC's Válbson Linares got a free kick in the 82nd minute. In the 87th match minute, Tigre Branco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hermínio Cunha to maneuver through the defense. Cristóvão Veiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 91st minute, Ramiro Sampaio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tigre Branco fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Tigre Branco's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
