He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Duarte Neves. Duarte Neves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nelson Gerber, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Joel de Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nelson Gerber received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Duarte Neves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nelson Gerber to make the kick off. Joel de Almeida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duarte Neves having to interfere. Diego Vianna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Morete defense, Joel de Almeida kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Duarte Neves. The Morete fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Duarte Neves should have stopped the shot. Nelson Gerber got in the 85th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Duarte Neves handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. 91 minutes into the match, Morete's goal looked a bit too open when Nelson Gerber came free, but Duarte Neves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94th minute, Joel de Almeida ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Duarte Neves was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0.
