Spectators: 6667 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1667, VIP seats: 0) After 4 played minutes Duarte Salgado rounded STAR FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. A collision led to STAR FC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Bernardinho Xavier hit a great ball. Caco Breckenfeld made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Chiquinho Moreira sent off a good shot on target. In the 10thth minute of the game Duarte Salgado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but STAR FC's Caco Breckenfeld was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 19thth minute of the game Tony Meirelles who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Curimatau's Natã Domingues was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. STAR FC's Richard Garcia got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Natã Domingues made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tony Meirelles in the 35th minute of play. Bernardinho Xavier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. STAR FC's Bernardinho Xavier got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Natã Domingues made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tony Meirelles in the 44th minute of play. Natã Domingues took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tony Meirelles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bernardinho Xavier took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Natã Domingues. Natã Domingues dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Duarte Salgado to make the kick off. Caco Breckenfeld came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Curimatau's Chiquinho Moreira. But to his dismay, Chiquinho Moreira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chiquinho Moreira in the 62nd minute of play forced STAR FC's goalkeeper Caco Breckenfeld to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by André Luiz Vianna during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Curimatau booed when STAR FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. André Luiz Vianna didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gabriel Sampaio got free with Natã Domingues in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 69 minutes into the match, Gabriel Sampaio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Natã Domingues. Curimatau's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gabriel Sampaio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. After a defensive mix-up in Curimatau's zone, Tony Meirelles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Natã Domingues came out of the goal and Tony Meirelles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Wilson Paes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 89 minutes, Gabriel Sampaio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. STAR FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gabriel Sampaio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When STAR FC's Tony Meirelles in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Curimatau's goalie prevented a goal. Gabriel Sampaios short, quick shot in the 93rdth minute got Natã Domingues to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Tony Meirelles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When STAR FC's Tony Meirelles in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Curimatau's goalie prevented a goal. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the STAR FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
