Natã Domingues didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for STAR FC. A hard shot 10 in the game by Tony Meirelles from a close distance when the talented Natã Domingues managed to make a qualified save. Curimatau's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tony Meirelles in the 12th minute of play forced Curimatau's goalkeeper Natã Domingues to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Caco Breckenfeld showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chiquinho Moreira in the 13th minute of the match. Caco Breckenfeld showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Duarte Salgado, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. With a little luck, Curimatau's Natã Domingues got control of the ball when Bernardinho Xavier tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tony Meirelles in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Natã Domingues saved Curimatau from getting behind. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

In the 51st minute, Alexandre da Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bernardinho Xavier hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tony Meirelles in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Natã Domingues prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tony Meirelles in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Natã Domingues saved Curimatau from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Richard Garcia during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 63 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for STAR FC! STAR FC:s Caco Breckenfeld showed great skill when he stopped Orlando Loureiro:s penalty. Ciro Félix got his second yellow card in the match during the 72nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gabriel Sampaio in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Natã Domingues saved Curimatau from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Tony Meirelles put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Natã Domingues. 79 minutes into the match, Curimatau's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Sampaio came free, but Natã Domingues reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Tony Meirelles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Natã Domingues took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardinho Xavier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Curimatau defense, Tony Meirelles kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Natã Domingues. The Curimatau fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Natã Domingues should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Tony Meirelles's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Natã Domingues was relentless in the 95th minute of the game.
