Dionísio Brodel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aloísio Dantas shot from long distance in the 14th minute, but Christian Vale was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Dionísio Brodels short, quick shot in the 17thth minute got Christian Vale to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Adilson Domingues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Rafael Dias took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Christian Vale to make any attempt to save it. After recieving a nice pass, Jeriquara EC's Tiago da Cunha tried to score from far away in the 27th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 28th minute Adilson Domingues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilmar Vidal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Dias in the 30th minute of play forced Jeriquara EC's goalkeeper Christian Vale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute, Manoel Messias made a precise shot to the right of Gilmar Vidal. Amianto's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Adilson Domingues struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Gilmar Vidal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jeriquara EC. After a rather tough play, Amianto's Washington Breckenfeld got a free kick in the 48th minute. Tiago da Cunha, 49 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Manoel Messias made a kick off. In the 55th minute, Manoel Messias reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gilmar Vidal. The goal made the score 1-2. After having played for 61 minutes, Adilson Domingues managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jeriquara EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adilson Domingues was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Adilson Domingues who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 62ndth minute tested the skills of Gilmar Vidal when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 63 played minutes Amianto got a freekick which was hit by Washington Breckenfeld. Christian Vale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Dias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Dionísio Brodel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeriquara EC's Magno Meireles got his second yellow card of the match in the 92nd minute. The referee ordered Magno Meireles off the ground. After 92 played minutes Jeriquara EC got a freekick which was hit by Magno Meireles. Christian Vale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Dias in the 94th minute of play. When the match was over Jeriquara EC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Amianto throughout the match.
