Spectators: 5300 (Terracing: 4100, Seating: 1100, VIP seats: 100) Hudson Cerezo started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd minute Hudson Cerezo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duarte Koehler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Citrolandia's Hudson Cerezo got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 10 played minutes Sapucai got a freekick which was hit by Fabrício Linhares. Jano Amorim scored 0-1 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Duarte Koehler, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Duarte Koehler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jano Amorim, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Jairo de Godoy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Natã Carvalho having to interfere. Sapucai's Duarte Koehler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jano Amorim in the 23rd minute of play. Enéas Cerezo's late challenge caught a Citrolandia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Enéas Cerezo helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 24th minute of the game. One of Sapucai:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Citrolandia:s goal. Hudson Cerezo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Duarte Koehler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sandrinho Arce charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sandrinho Arce the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Citrolandia booed when Sapucai was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sandrinho Arce didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 31st minute, Francisco Miranda sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Sapucai's Duarte Koehler didn't even have to move. The Citrolandia fans' excitement grew in the 34th match minute when Citrolandia's Jano Amorim looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Dorival Simões had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jano Amorim recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dorival Simões was the one to do the kick off. Hudson Cerezo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Duarte Koehler read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Fabrício Linhares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Natã Carvalho having to interfere. José Augusto Paes hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Benedito de Almeida took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 66th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Natã Carvalho. Citrolandia's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to Citrolandia getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. José Augusto Paes hit a great ball. In the 73rd minute, Benedito de Almeida sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Citrolandia's Natã Carvalho didn't even have to move. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sapucai's goalkeeper Duarte Koehler, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 83 minutes had been played when some careless play by Citrolandia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Benedito de Almeida was slow to take the kick. During this time Sapucai's players had a chance to rest. Luiz Fernando Figueiredo thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Natã Carvalho, a very annoying self made goal in the 84th minute which led to 2-2. Hudson Cerezo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Duarte Koehler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hudson Cerezo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
