When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dudu Motta made a kick off. Marcel de Brito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dudu Motta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Efigenia's Marcel de Brito proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Efigenia from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Muribeca SC's Dudu Motta slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Marcel de Brito. That made the score 0-5 after 55 minutes of play. When Dadá de Andrade came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Efigenia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dadá de Andrade couldn't finish the play. Vinícius Veiga's late challenge caught a Muribeca SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vinícius Veiga helped the player get up and apologised. Vinícius Veiga kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. In the 61st minute of the match Toninho de Queiroz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcel de Brito showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.
