Spectators: 6464 (Terracing: 5464, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Laerte Maranhense got the match started through his kick off. Gonçalo Tande fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cláudio Aparecido having to interfere. In the 5th match minute, Baia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amadeu Silveira to maneuver through the defense. Cláudio Aparecido made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Laerte Maranhense sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Laerte Maranhense in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cláudio Aparecido saved Cantareira FC from getting behind. In the 23rd minute, Baia FC's Laerte Maranhense ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cláudio Aparecido. Cláudio Aparecido yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. The audience was convinced that Laerte Maranhense's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cláudio Aparecido was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. In the 27th minute, Laerte Maranhense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Gamza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valdemar Azevedo in the 31st minute of the match. In the 32nd minute, Deivid Dionísio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cantareira FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 40th minute of the match Luizão Lopez shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Daniel Gamza showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Gonçalo Tande fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cláudio Aparecido having to interfere. In the 47th minute Laerte Maranhense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cláudio Aparecido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edgar Mattos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cláudio Aparecido showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gonçalo Tande in the 56th minute of the match. After 57 minutes Cantareira FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Laerte Maranhense who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Laerte Maranhense almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Cantareira FC's Cláudio Aparecido did a great save. In the 62nd minute, Laerte Maranhense got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Laerte Maranhense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Baia FC's Laerte Maranhense in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Cláudio Aparecido came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Baia FC's Kinsen Folgueira. But to his dismay, Kinsen Folgueira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. When Ramón do Valle came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Baia FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ramón do Valle couldn't finish the play. Laerte Maranhense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Cláudio Aparecido tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Cantareira FC's Haroldo Aguiar got a free kick in the 83rd minute. A collision led to Cantareira FC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Eriberto Fontes hit a great ball. In the 88th minute, Laerte Maranhense left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Baia FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Deivid Dionísio got free with Daniel Gamza in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
