The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alex Paulista was the one to do the kick off. João Pedro Neiva came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by FÉ F.C.'s César Corrêa. But to his dismay, César Corrêa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. João Pedro Neiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from César Corrêa in the 57th minute of the match. Contria's João Pedro Neiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilton Almeida in the 59th minute of play. Marcelo Alcântara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Rogério Lucas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alex Paulista's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 66thth minute, Rogério Lucas skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Kiko Valle's late challenge caught a Contria's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kiko Valle helped the player get up and apologised. After 67 played minutes FÉ F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Kiko Valle. After 73 minutes, Gabriel Miranda mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FÉ F.C. and the Contria players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 94th minute César Corrêa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Pedro Neiva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luís Vieira took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 97th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for João Pedro Neiva. Contria's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The Contria supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Contria would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
