In the 6thth minute of the game Agnaldo Ceresso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hotspur D. Discove's Sandrinho Quadros was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Agnaldo Ceresso in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sandrinho Quadros prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Rafinha Marques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. Dé Loyola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Ulysses Bastos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ulysses Bastos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nelson Moraes in the 19th minute of play. Duarte Netto kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Nelson Moraes struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Ulysses Bastos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hotspur D. Discove. Ulysses Bastos made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Dé Loyola sent off a good shot on target. When Róbson Fontes fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hotspur D. Discove's protests and gave Róbson Fontes a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Caicara booed when Hotspur D. Discove was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Róbson Fontes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Agnaldo Ceresso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sandrinho Quadros having to interfere. In the 29th minute, Hotspur D. Discove's Nelson Moraes dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. A hard shot 32 in the game by Dé Loyola from a close distance when the talented Ulysses Bastos managed to make a qualified save. Caicara's players were relieved. The audience was convinced that Agnaldo Ceresso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sandrinho Quadros was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. 35 minutes into the match, Rafinha Marques had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sandrinho Quadros. Hotspur D. Discove's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rafinha Marques was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 43 minutes into the match, Hotspur D. Discove's goal looked a bit too open when Agnaldo Ceresso came free, but Sandrinho Quadros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Nelson Moraes made the kick off in the second half. If Rafinha Marques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rafinha Marques's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 58thth minute, Sandrinho Quadros skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A collision led to Hotspur D. Discove getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Cléber Fontes hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Caicara defense, Nelson Moraes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ulysses Bastos. The Caicara fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ulysses Bastos should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Caicara getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Ramiro Leite hit a great ball. When Hotspur D. Discove's Nelson Moraes in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Caicara's goalie prevented a goal. After 71 minutes of play Hotspur D. Discove's Róbson Fontes was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Hotspur D. Discove getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Róbson Fontes hit a great ball. 74 minutes into the match, Caicara's Rafinha Marques sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sandrinho Quadros narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sandrinho Quadros made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rafinha Marques in the 76th minute. Dieguinho Soares kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. The attack was good, but when Rafinha Marques in the 82nd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Guilherme Meireles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rafinha Marques was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 89th minute. Caicara's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Rafinha Marques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Sandrinho Quadros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ramiro Leite's late challenge caught a Hotspur D. Discove's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ramiro Leite helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Caicara's Ramiro Leite got a free kick in the 95th minute. The Hotspur D. Discove support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
