Doni Nascimento recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tony Abraão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Faustão Fernandez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mané Tinoco who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 13thth minute tested the skills of Arí Abreu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Maresia FC's Faustão Fernandez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Doni Nascimento in the 15th minute of play. Zdzislaw Bugajski hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Oscar Botelho hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Maresia FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Romeu Brodel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Hortêncio Amaral blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arí Abreu having to make a save. Faustão Fernandez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Doni Nascimento in the 30th minute of play. A collision led to Ingas getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Tony Abraão hit a great ball. Mané Tinoco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Arí Abreu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Faustão Fernandez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Doni Nascimento, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. When Mané Tinoco came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Maresia FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mané Tinoco couldn't finish the play. After having played for 47 minutes, Zdzislaw Bugajski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maresia FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zdzislaw Bugajski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Maresia FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ingas were winning 0-1.

Hortêncio Amaral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arí Abreu having to interfere. Tony Abraão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Faustão Fernandez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Doni Nascimento could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Faustão Fernandez made a huge save. 68 minutes into the match, Maresia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Romeu Brodel came free, but Faustão Fernandez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Maresia FC's Betão Freitas got a free kick in the 68th minute. Mané Tinoco struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Arí Abreu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maresia FC. If Mané Tinoco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st match minute, Ingas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilberto Machado to maneuver through the defense. In the 83rd minute, Amauri Paraíba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arí Abreu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mané Tinoco's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. After 93 played minutes Ingas got a freekick which was hit by Tony Abraão. After a rather tough play, Ingas's Amauri Paraíba got a free kick in the 95th minute. The supporters of Maresia FC booed when Ingas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romeu Brodel didn't get a good kick on the ball.
