The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Wilton do Valle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luisão Ramalho having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Pirapo's Bruno Maranhense got a free kick in the 8th minute. When Ruilandia's Osvaldo Catarinense in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Cauan Fernandez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Duarte Lopez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wilton do Valle during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Pirapo's Wilton do Valle got a free kick in the 18th minute. Toninho Marquez, 19 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 24th minute, Oséias de Queiroz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Duarte Lopez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toninho Marquez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cauan Fernandez in the 27th minute of play forced Pirapo's goalkeeper Duarte Lopez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 29 minutes of play Pirapo's Wilton do Valle was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Pirapo getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Wilton do Valle hit a great ball. 30 minutes into the match, Pirapo's goal looked a bit too open when Osvaldo Catarinense came free, but Duarte Lopez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Duarte Lopez came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Ruilandia's Cauan Fernandez. But to his dismay, Cauan Fernandez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 41stth minute of the game Cauan Fernandez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pirapo's Duarte Lopez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 48th minute, Jeremias Barbosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Toninho Marquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bruno Maranhense was the one to do the kick off. Duarte Lopez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cauan Fernandez in the 60th minute of play. 0-2 became the score in the 63rd minute when Cauan Fernandez elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 70th minute, Délio Gonçalves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Duarte Lopez didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Ruilandia's Osvaldo Catarinense shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-3 in the ordered_time% minute. When Sebastião Peixoto fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ruilandia's protests and gave Sebastião Peixoto a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Pirapo booed when Ruilandia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastião Peixoto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Osvaldo Catarinense blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Duarte Lopez having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Pirapo's zone, Cauan Fernandez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Duarte Lopez came out of the goal and Cauan Fernandez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 83rd match minute, Pirapo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nuno Vale to maneuver through the defense. After 91 minutes, Délio Gonçalves mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pirapo and the Ruilandia players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Ruilandia booed when Pirapo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Délio Gonçalves didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Osvaldo Catarinense got free with Duarte Lopez in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Pirapo supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Ruilandia's performance. The match ended with a win for Ruilandia.
