Álvaro do Vale made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 15th minute, Carazzai FC's Joacim Blomqvist ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Álvaro do Vale. Álvaro do Vale yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. After a rather tough play, River Playte's Dé Pinho got a free kick in the 19th minute. The audience was convinced that Joacim Blomqvist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Álvaro do Vale was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Joacim Blomqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Álvaro do Vale having to interfere. If Adolfo Conrao had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 37 minutes, Alberto Donato managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carazzai FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alberto Donato was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Adolfo Conrao's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 41stth minute, Álvaro do Vale skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alberto Donato was the one to do the kick off. When Alberto Donato came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Carazzai FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Donato couldn't finish the play. Joacim Blomqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in River Playte's zone, Adolfo Conrao stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Álvaro do Vale came out of the goal and Adolfo Conrao tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Túlio de Queirós fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mano Manteca having to interfere. In the 72nd minute Joacim Blomqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Álvaro do Vale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the River Playte defense, Alberto Donato kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Álvaro do Vale. The River Playte fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Álvaro do Vale should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, River Playte's Júlio Mendes got a free kick in the 76th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Juarês Sabóia got free with Mano Manteca in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Juarês Sabóia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Mano Manteca made a huge save. 87 minutes into the match, River Playte's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Donato came free, but Álvaro do Vale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adolfo Conrao sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Donato in the 91st minute of play forced River Playte's goalkeeper Álvaro do Vale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Álvaro do Vale didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adolfo Conrao went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. When the referee ended the match the Carazzai FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
