Kiko Mattos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robinho Loyola having to interfere. Chicão Sergipano scored 1-1 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Franklin Moreira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Franklin Moreira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adelino Sá in the 30th minute of the match. Robinho Loyola made an important save on a dangerous shot by Thiago das Neves in the 33rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adelino Sá in the 36th minute of play forced Drachen Von Bayern's goalkeeper Franklin Moreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Ibirapuera's zone, Thiago das Neves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kiko Mattos in the 48th minute of play forced Ibirapuera's goalkeeper Robinho Loyola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Adelino Sá made the kick off in the second half. Drachen Von Bayern's Thiago das Neves got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Robinho Loyola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thiago das Neves in the 65th minute of play. If Adelino Sá had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robinho Loyola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kiko Mattos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 86th minute of the game. One of Drachen Von Bayern:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ibirapuera:s goal. After 87 minutes of play, Ibirapuera's Fabrício Teixeira made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Franklin Moreira was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kiko Mattos in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. Franklin Moreira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Ibirapuera's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
