Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Adelino Sá started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a rather tough play, Contendas FC's Elano Vidal got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Fabrício Marinho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Chicão Sergipano in the 3rd minute. If Adelino Sá had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adelino Sá sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chicão Sergipano's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Fabrício Marinho firmly grabbed it by the left post. After a rather tough play, Ibirapuera's Gilvan Leão got a free kick in the 18th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adelino Sá in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabrício Marinho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 26 minutes into the match, Contendas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Adelino Sá came free, but Fabrício Marinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Adelino Sá had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Contendas FC's Fabrício Marinho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Contendas FC from getting a goal against them. Nico Zonta hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Chicão Sergipano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabrício Marinho having to interfere. Gilvan Leão struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Fabrício Marinho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ibirapuera. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tião Santos in the 46th minute of play forced Ibirapuera's goalkeeper Robinho Loyola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 48th minute the ball was on its way in behind Contendas FC's goalkeeper Fabrício Marinho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Tião Santos made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Ibirapuera booed when Contendas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cléber Trancoso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chicão Sergipano scored 1-0 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fabrício Marinho, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Chicão Sergipano took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fabrício Marinho. Fabrício Marinho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. When Ademar Sena came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Contendas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ademar Sena couldn't finish the play. Nico Zonta hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. 80 minutes into the match, Contendas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Adelino Sá came free, but Fabrício Marinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ibirapuera's Robinho Loyola proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Ibirapuera from getting a goal against them. Chicão Sergipano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Fabrício Marinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 93rd play minutes Adelino Sá shot 4-0, a short shot which went by Fabrício Marinho and just under the crossbar into goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Ibirapuera had won after a very even match.
