Betão Pombal hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. When Valdo Barral fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Darcilena SC's protests and gave Valdo Barral a yellow card for diving instead. Valdo Barral kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Elano de Toledo was a little too slow when Kauan Meirelles got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 11th minute. The score was now 1-0. Kauan Meirelles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elano de Toledo having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Joaima's Kauan Meirelles slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Elano de Toledo. That made the score 2-0 after 19 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kauan Meirelles in the 24th minute of play forced Darcilena SC's goalkeeper Elano de Toledo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joaima's Donatello Passos got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Joaima's Acácio Velloso got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 30 minutes into the match, Joaima's Kauan Meirelles sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Elano de Toledo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Luciano da Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kauan Meirelles might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Elano de Toledo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kauan Meirelles ran back to his position shaking his head. Kauan Meirelles's late challenge caught a Darcilena SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kauan Meirelles helped the player get up and apologised. In the 37th minute, Kauan Meirelles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Darcilena SC's Simão Alvarenga got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luciano da Costa in the 41st minute of play forced Joaima's goalkeeper Edmund Mattsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elano de Toledo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Donatello Passos went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Kauan Meirelles made the kick off in the second half. The attack was good, but when Luciano da Costa in the 57th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. 58 minutes into the match, Kauan Meirelles had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Elano de Toledo. Darcilena SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kauan Meirelles was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Donatello Passos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Donatello Passos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Elano de Toledo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Joaima booed when Darcilena SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Betão Pombal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Matheus Neto's late challenge caught a Darcilena SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Matheus Neto helped the player get up and apologised. In the 74th minute, Matheus Neto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 77th minute Luciano da Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmund Mattsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elano de Toledo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kauan Meirelles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 80 minutes, Donatello Passos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Joaima's supporters crossed their fingers, but Donatello Passos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 84 minutes into the match, Kauan Meirelles notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Darcilena SC's Elano de Toledo. Elano de Toledo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Donatello Passos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Elano de Toledo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Simão Alvarenga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 94 minutes, João Paulo do Vale mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Darcilena SC and the Joaima players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 94th match minute, Darcilena SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Paulo do Vale to maneuver through the defense. Donatello Passos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Elano de Toledo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play.
