Spectators: 6678 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1678, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Kauan Meirelles took the kick off in the first half of the match. With an all-out effort, Joaima's Aloísio Esteves threw himself towards the right post 3 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kauan Meirelles, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After having played for 5 minutes, Donatello Passos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Joaima's supporters crossed their fingers, but Donatello Passos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jano Couto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Edmund Mattsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Acácio Velloso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Aloísio Esteves made a huge save. With his leg Aloísio Esteves managed to avoid a goal in the 20thth minute, when Joaima's Acácio Velloso fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Erasmo Vasconcelos hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Edmund Mattsson came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Virus S.C's Jano Couto. But to his dismay, Jano Couto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. With a little luck, Virus S.C's Aloísio Esteves got control of the ball when Acácio Velloso tried to sneak it across the goal line. Acácio Velloso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Aloísio Esteves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kauan Meirelles in the 42nd minute of play forced Virus S.C's goalkeeper Aloísio Esteves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 45 minutes of play, Joaima's Edmílson Bertassi made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aloísio Esteves was left in no man's land by his defense there! The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The wind increased when Jano Couto made the kick off in the second half. Edmílson Bertassi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aloísio Esteves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kauan Meirelles, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. A collision led to Joaima getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Acácio Velloso hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Joaima's zone, Jano Couto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edmund Mattsson came out of the goal and Jano Couto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kauan Meirelles in the 63rd minute of play forced Virus S.C's goalkeeper Aloísio Esteves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th minute, Kauan Meirelles got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aloísio Esteves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kauan Meirelles in the 70th minute of the match. Donatello Passos might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aloísio Esteves. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Donatello Passos ran back to his position shaking his head. 77 minutes into the match, Virus S.C's goal looked a bit too open when Kauan Meirelles came free, but Aloísio Esteves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aloísio Esteves stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kauan Meirelles's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Aloísio Esteves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kauan Meirelles in the 82nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jano Couto got free with Edmund Mattsson in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 84 minutes of play, Joaima's Kauan Meirelles made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aloísio Esteves was left in no man's land by his defense there! 88 minutes into the game, Joaima's Kauan Meirelles nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aloísio Esteves made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. 92 minutes into the match, Edmílson Bertassi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aloísio Esteves. Virus S.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edmílson Bertassi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. In the 96th minute Kauan Meirelles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aloísio Esteves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Joaima fully deserved thier win.
